FOEN® has built nearly 130 installations supplied to the leading steel manufacturers for the automotive industry in the whole world. High engineering standards lead to the use of the best materials, tight tolerances and high precision of strokes and motion. A total quality system has been developed, including many of our long-term sub-suppliers. Equipment is fully pre-assembled and tested prior to shipment in FOEN® workshop. It is worth mentioning that an increasing part of the new orders is granted by customers who already have a FOEN® air-knife system working on one of their lines.

As a result of the sustained contact with the customers, FOEN® developed new materials enabling extended production campaigns with a superior coating uniformity along and across the strip. The world record for the production of hot-dip galvanized steel is held by a FOEN® customer in the USA. Nevertheless, FOEN® is staying engaged in innovations to meet the increasing quality requirements of the market as well as to contribute to protect our environment in the way of zinc and energy savings. Presently, FOEN®'s research is mainly focussing on thinnest and most regular coating at processing speed higher than 200 m/min with reduced noise level.
